Grrrreat Halloween

So, Im finally posting pics of our little tiger. We had a great time hanging with family, attending fall festivals (yep, one just wouldnt do) and trick or treating with friends. Enjoy the pics, daddy enjoyed the new found holiday.....even if he did use our little guy to get free candy!!

Happy Half Birthday!

Its hard to believe Christopher is 6 months already. I have treasured everyday with my lil man and look forward to all he will show me in the months ahead. God has blessed our family more than words could express and although Jonathan and I knew that May 2nd would change our lives forever, I dont think either one of us knew just how much fun it would be!

We had his 6 month appointment yesterday. Thank goodness Daddy was there, I didnt want to hold him down again. Christopher was a trooper and barely cried. The nurses commented on what a handsom lil man he is. We agree but are totally partial. He only got 2 shots and I will take him back in another month and a half for the rest. His stats were:

weight: 16.6 lbs - 25% STILL

height: 27 inches - 75%

head: dont remember the number - 50%

Arboretum on Sunday

We had a client shoot on Sunday (will upload those pics this week) at the Dallas Arboretum and C helped me with my lighting before they arrived. When did he get so big?

Boomer Sooner!!!

We have a fun weekend planned of pumpkin patches, state fair corn dogs and that little known game on Saturday! So, C wanted to show who he will be yelling for this weekend!

Pumpkins everywhere!!

This week most of the pumpkin patches in the area opened. You know what that means, photo opps everywhere! We took C to his first pumpkin patch this week and although VERY windy, I think he had a good time. We have plans to attend a few more so stay tuned. For now, enjoy Christopher's first pumpkin patch.

5 months old!

Today Christopher turns 5 months old. I cant believe he is that big. It seems like just last week I was trying to figure out how to manage a shower a day and get more than 6 hours of sleep a night.

We have been blessed with the sweetest baby!!

Today I took C to the Dr to get caught up on some shots (since we are delaying vaccs) and to have a little patch on his arm checked. All was well and it looks like we might just be dealing with a little dry skin irritation that wont go away or a mild reaction to starting cereal.

Of course I cant resist the opportunity to weigh lil man. Today......whopping 15 lbs. He gained over a pound and a half in a month but STILL only in the 25%. At least hes gaining weight, hes just a little guy ;)

Finally, Im busting out the awesome baby food maker mom bought me for mother's day to start with the foods next week. Look for pics to come!

4 1/2 months!

This week the weather has been so nice that Christopher and I have been out and about. Walks are almost a twice daily adventure. On Wednesday we got out and took some pics....enjoy!

Sweet Sisters

I shot these two a week ago and it reminded me how special the relationship is between sisters. I am blessed to have two of the best!!!

C and I were in Fayetteville a month ago and spent some time with my sister. I just love her garden!

Sweet Nicole!

Shot these a few weeks ago at Jonathan's Volleyball tourney. Nicole's mommy plays on his team. These turned out pretty well considering it was 110 degrees with the heat index. Nicole just turned 10 months old. ...gotta love those cheeks!!
